Putting up the tree, and Santa - Christmas, 06

Christmas trees and Germany definitely go hand in hand, but the Germans idea of a nice tree is, well, different. Our friends who have spent a prior Christmas here referred to them as "Charlie Brown trees." We had a good time going out to a German home store, picking out one, and hauling it home.

Justin and Michael enjoyed visiting with Santa at the unit's holiday party. It it hilarious that at this age, Justin was TERRIFIED of Santa, and Michael has never hesitated, not for a second.
