Disneyland Paris - Bonjour, M'sr Mickey!
For Columbus Day weekend, we decided to check out the Euro-way of doing all things Disney. It proved to be an interesting trip - we didn't tell the boys our true destination, only that we would be going to France for the weekend. They were excited - they like to travel - but didn't expect anything. We took off in the early afternoon, bound for Paris. It takes about five hours to get there. Michael and Justin settled in for the ride, watching movies (Disney ones, of course!) and away we went. We arrived at night; even though we passed several very large signs, Justin didn't figure it out. We had to give him hints; he still didn't get it until we got to our hotel and he saw the park maps. He was thrilled!! They were both quite excited that Mickey had left them both a big Mickey Mouse on their bed! He had a note with their names, and "Bienvenue a Disneyland Paris!" We settled in for the night, and in the morning checked out the continental breakfast provided at the hotel. Michael gave Nutella, the chocolate breakfast spread, a big thumbs up! After breakfast, we explored a bit at the hotel, and then were off to the parks. The view from our hotel room was pretty; Fall is such a pretty season here.
